GitLab, the most comprehensive AI-powered DevSecOps platform, recently announced that it had been given the 2023 Google Cloud Technology Partner of the Year award for the DevOps, Application Development category. GitLab has held on to this honor for the third consecutive year and counting.
The award recognizes GitLab’s accomplishments in Application Development within the Google Cloud ecosystem. Through their partnership, joint customers have been able to develop better cloud-native applications in less time, improving efficiency across the software development lifecycle (SDLC). GitLab fully integrates with Google Cloud to support joint customer development workflows from ideation to production, improving cycle time, lowering development costs, and enabling the speedy delivery of more secure and compliant software.
Both GitLab and Google Cloud are strongly committed to privacy and enterprise readiness, with the recent expansion in their partnership delivering secure enterprise-grade AI offerings. GitLab is part of the Built with Google Cloud AI program, leveraging Google Cloud’s generative AI models to offer customers AI-powered features with a privacy-first approach. This approach enables AI efficiencies without skipping out on security best practices. The GitLab DevSecOps platform allows enterprises to experience the benefits of AI throughout the SDLC for faster delivery, while continuing to keep their source code secure.
“We are thrilled to be recognized by Google Cloud as a leader in DevOps and application development for the third year in a row,” says Nima Badiey, VP of Strategic Partnerships, GitLab. “We recently expanded our strategic partnership to meet the growing industry demand for privacy-first, AI-powered solutions that enable faster software delivery.
