GitLab Awarded Google Cloud Technology Partner of the Year

GitLab, ​​the most comprehensive AI-powered DevSecOps platform, recently announced that it had been given the 2023 Google Cloud Technology Partner of the Year award for the DevOps, Application Development category. GitLab has held on to this honor for the third consecutive year and counting.

The award recognizes GitLab’s accomplishments in Application Development within the Google Cloud ecosystem. Through their partnership, joint customers have been able to develop better cloud-native applications in less time, improving efficiency across the software development lifecycle (SDLC). GitLab fully integrates with Google Cloud to support joint customer development workflows from ideation to production, improving cycle time, lowering development costs, and enabling the speedy delivery of more secure and compliant software.

Both GitLab and Google Cloud are strongly committed to privacy and enterprise readiness, with the recent expansion in their partnership delivering secure enterprise-grade AI offerings. GitLab is part of the Built with Google Cloud AI program, leveraging Google Cloud’s generative AI models to offer customers AI-powered features with a privacy-first approach. This approach enables AI efficiencies without skipping out on security best practices. The GitLab DevSecOps platform allows enterprises to experience the benefits of AI throughout the SDLC for faster delivery, while continuing to keep their source code secure.

This award strengthens the partnership between GitLab and Google Cloud, which stretches all the way back to 2018. GitLab had previously received the Partner of the Year for Application Development Award in 2021 and in 2020.
