The company experienced record increases in revenue and Global 2000 customer count, appointed new product and channel executives, formed key alliances with market leaders, and introduced innovative product capabilities across its industry-leading platform.
Customer Acquisition Grown by 400%
Noname Security continued to grow its revenue exponentially during the first half of 2023 and expanded its customer base by over 400% YoY. Dozens of Global 500 and Fortune 100 companies are currently Noname customers, including two of the top 5 beverage companies in the world, five of the top 10 healthcare companies in the world, four of the largest national banks in the US, two of the top 5 retail companies in the US, and the largest gaming company in the world.
Strategic Alliances Forged with Intel, Wiz, and IBM
Noname recently launched a number of significant partnerships with leading technology providers such as Intel, IBM, and Wiz. Noname Security is currently part of the Accelerated by Intel program, which brings faster API response times for low latency use cases and the performance of near-real-time machine learning for runtime API security at the edge of the network. In addition, Noname has partnered with IBM to bring the power of advanced API security and management capabilities to IBM API Connect and IBM DataPower customers. Finally, Noname Security has been selected to be part of the Wiz Integration (WIN) program, allowing joint customers to improve their security posture through a powerful, integrated ecosystem.
Product Innovation Advanced
The first half of 2023 saw Noname Security release multiple major product enhancements to its API Platform. In March, Noname announced added functionality to the platform’s runtime security, posture management, and discovery capabilities. In April, the company introduced the industry’s first comprehensive, hardened API security platform for the US federal government as well as for highly regulated industries. Furthermore, in June, Noname released the second version of its leading Active Testing solution, with even broader API reachability, integrations into the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and best in-class usability for developers.
Key New Appointments Made to Executive Team
Noname Security expanded its executive team by promoting Michelle Shear to VP of Channel Sales, bringing extensive expertise in security GTM with partners at companies such as FireEye, Armis, and Fortinet. In addition, Aner Morag was promoted to VP Product & Technology at Noname Security, where he is expected to drive product innovation across the platform.
